Sheep for Sale
We have hair and wool ewes with their 2010 lambs available now (April, 2010) at $200 a pair. The ewes are handled regularly and are not wild. The lambs are singles and look really nice. Most were born in February and March this year and were sired by Katahdin and white dorper rams. Pick out your ewes and for an extra charge we can expose them to a katahdin ram for breeding before they leave Oak Lane Sheep.

We are also offering a few yearling ewes from the UF Florida Native flock at $150 each. Florida Native sheep (or, more recently, Florida Cracker sheep) are a heritage breed and there are not a lot of them left. We have had calls from other sections of the country for 300 to 500 Florida Native ewes. Sorry. It's impossible to fill that order, as there are not that many left in the entire state! We try to keep some Florida Native genes in our ewe flock to give them more parasite tolerance as well as to encourage good mothering ability.
